Interested in all things music?

We are looking for high schoolers for the 24/25 school year to join our Youth Squad to help us curate and run nine live music events that will culminate with our annual Youth Battle of the Bands in early May. As a Youth Squad member, you will be helping with:

  • Booking bands for shows

  • Marketing events

  • Live sound

  • Event lighting

  • Photography/Videography

  • Social media content creation

  • Small business management

Participants will receive a free Tier Two Live t-shirt, free access to all of the shows, and other event SWAG

Youth Squad Requirements

  • Age 15+ or entering the 9th+ grade

  • Available to meet about every 2 weeks mid August thru early May.

  • Event dates: 9/6, 10/5 (Lafayette Music Fest!), 11/15, 12/13, 1/24, 2/21, 3/14, 4/11, and 5/3

  • Positive attitude, love of all things music, willingness to learn

ABOUT TIER TWO LIVE

Tier Two Live is an independent, all-ages music promotion group started in 2019 by Dave Heinrich as a bit of an experiment to see if a viable independent youth-focused music scene could be created in suburb of Boulder and Denver.

Since its inception, Tier Two Live has brought over 60 all-ages, live music events to Lafayette with almost 200 bands. We believe that a thriving local music scene creates opportunities for people of all interests and backgrounds to come together.
